Blue Nose Trading 

By holding a mirror to my inner-self, I intend to create a bold and unexpected—yet natural and uncomplicated, aesthetic for my artwork bordering on the whimsical.

 

I explore connections between opposing concepts with a spirit of straightforward optimism which I hope evokes the same sense of joy in others as it gives to me.

 

Opposing concepts like “bold yet natural,” which might normally exist in tension, I present as harmonious dualities touching on themes of a shared humanity. Other topics of interest to me include manifesting the spiritual in something functional, or imbuing colors--which are modernly associated with synthetics, the power to reclaiming their raw, primal beauty.

 

Overall, my aim artistically is to unite these principles in a way that is authentic to my truest sense of self.
