Kramer Sculpting Tools Unboxing

Hi guys and welcome back to my channel, Blue Nose Trading! Today I'm going to be unboxing my new sculpting tools from Paige Kramer of Kramer Sculpting Tools, and let's get to it!

I've been so excited to get these tools from Paige Kramer from @kramer_sculpting_tools. You can find her on Instagram. She is a woodworker, but she's also a sculptor herself, and as soon as I saw her share these tools, I knew that I had to have some. I sent her a message because everything she had was sold out, and she made me this firecracker series of handmade wood sculpting tools. These are seven layers of hard maple held together with an impact glue. They are triple treated with Tung and teak wood treatment, polyurethane sealed, and double polished with furniture beeswax. They are finished all the way up to 2000 grit. They have extra strength from the cross overlapping wood grain and they are just incredibly beautiful. As soon as I saw these, I knew the craftmanship was there, so I got ahold of her and she made this series of tools just for me. It's the firecracker series. They are a little bit smaller than what she had before, and I am super grateful that she was able to do this for me.

This first tool here is the "ice cream sampler". It's kind of scooped on one end and comes down to a nice flat piece on the other end. It is absolutely beautiful. These are art. So I am going to be making art with art. This is the "ice cream sampler". This next one that I have here is "the shank". This one is going to have a sharper edge, for slicing on the end. Oh my gosh, look at that! Look at the craftsmanship in these! This is Paige Kramer Sculpting Tools, and she is also is @paige_kramer_sculptures. I will have all of her links below to her Instagram, for her personal artwork, and for her sculpting tools, and also a link to her Etsy shop. You will have to follow her Etsy shop because she's pretty much sold out most of the time. I was super grateful that she was able to make this series for me. I have been looking forward to getting these for so long.

This next one here is the "tongue depressor", this one is the biggest one. I love that she made them smaller to fit my hands. This one is so nice. It's sharpened on one end, it's nice and flat with a bit of a lip on it. I love that she is a sculptor because she just knows how to make these tools, and what makes a good tool. Just looking at these, and holding them in your hands, the craftsmanship is absolutely phenomenal. These are some of the nicest tools that I have ever held in my hands. I cannot praise her enough.

The last one here, is the "hocus pocus", and this one, is so cool. It's like a pen tool, but made of wood. If you have handled any of the cheaper wood tools, they are nothing like this. These are wood, but these are seven layers of maple that is compressed together, polished and finished to furniture grade, waxed, polyurethaned. These are nothing like those cheap wood tools that you would get in a set. Definitely check her out at @kramer_sculpting_tools.
