I always aim to create what I like as far as my work goes. Art is subjective, and in always creating what I personally like best, I am always offering a true and authentic expression of my tastes and talents.
I resolve in myself to never create anything that is shaped by a need of anyone's approval. Approval is welcomed, but it is not required. In being free from the need of the approval of others, I am free to completely be my authentic, unaltered self.
I made a ton of sketches (way more than you see here) to experiment with different forms, shapes and design ideas.
I've settled on this low, and very round form. Now I just have to sit at my wheel and practice until I can get it just right!
