Hello, and welcome to my channel Blue Nose Trading. My name is Tori Solis and I am a visual artist, and that means that I make art that I find visually appealing. I have a background in painting and I also work in jewelry design. I am a full time artist. I go around the Dallas-Fort Worth area selling my stuff at markets, and I also sell online at bluenosetrading.com. And you see, I didn't even know that I was gonna be an artist. When I went to college, I majored in business and I majored in science, and I only took an art class because it was required as part of the curriculum. And then I really liked it and I felt like I was really good at it, and I remember being on the phone with my parents and saying "I swear I'm not going to major in art, I know I have to get a real job.", and here I am today and art is my real job. I'm just here to share that experience with you and inspire you to do whatever it is that calls to your soul. Because art is an expression of yourself. It's taking that part that's you, and putting it into this world. And you don't have to monetize it for it to be valid, you don't have to get paid. You just need to leave a piece of you in the world for others to see, or maybe even just for it to exist, it's so important! So I'm creating this channel to show you how, as artists, we all continue to grow. Like yes, I think I'm a great painter, but right now, I'm not a great potter, not today, but I will be and I'm sharing that process with you so that you can see how we grow and we continue to carry on and get better at things, and we can learn multiple things. You don't have to just do one type of art form, you can do several kinds. So, I'm a visual artist and I'm here to inspire you, and this is my channel, Blue Nose Trading, and I hope that you want to subscribe and hang out.
